Good Day...

Today I was able to add some pics to my blog. I hope from here on, I can work on uploading images more smoothly. I apologize if I confuse anyone, because I went back and uploaded the pics.

I just ordered some back issues of Somerset they had on sale for $2. they should arrive by next week, but I can't keep them for long. Also, I just realized that I'm going to end up with a second set of copies of "Artful Blogging"(1st & 2nd issue). I will post a challenge as soon as they arrive.

Mother's Day...

I hope everyone is enjoying their day with your families. If you are one of the lucky ones, that still have your mom, and grandmothers, take good care of them. If you're like me, and they're no longer present. I hope you are remembering all the good times.....
I was running around this morning trying to find the new mag - Artful Blogging, and yes finally got it. I missed the first issue, because everywhere it was listed of being sold, sold out.
I will post some pics of some RR art journals that I worked on, and some of my friends pages too, as soon as I get their permission.
Before I forget, I bought myself this beautiful art piece at TJ Max, which I plan to hang in my little work space. I love everything that has a heart. I will post the picture of it tomorrow.

Yesterday was a busy day. I had to work until 2:30, then come home a get ready to go see the Dodgers play. The Dodgers lost 5-0 to the Astros. That was a bummer, but we still managed to have fun. We ate Dodger dogs, pretzels, cotton candy, yeah, all that stuff that makes your tummy ache. We left a little early, so I managed to take only one picture of my daughter Catherine. I'll try to upload it later.

Finally...

Well, here I am. Finally posting to my first blog. I have created a few, but never posted anything. Pretty much got frustrated of not knowing how to create one. I will make every attempt to post everyday. I've been a scrapbooker for 14yrs now, and only played with mix media for about 5.
As soon as I can figure out how to upload pictures, I will post some of my altered journals.
I belong to a few groups, but my favorite one is this wonderful group http://groups. yahoo.com/ group/BlindSwapA TCs/. We're on our 3rd RR Altered Journal. We discuss all sorts of techniques, swaps & challenges, and we have raffles of all sorts. If you would like to join this group, you will need to grab a cup of coffee or tea, because we're a chatty bunch.

As soon as I get this going, I plan to post some challenges, games & give aways. I will add some of my favorite links to, as soon as I figure it out.
